Jhoom 513 is Cincinnati's first ever Indian musical band that was formed when a bunch of professionals who couldn't just get enough of Indian and South Asian music, and had to pursue their passion amidst their schedule juggling their careers and family. Sid Dutta went on a quest to look for fellow musicians in the Queen City to pursue his dream of forming a band after prolonged tenure of performing live for several years, both solo and with his college band, MegaHertz. It was a dream come true event for him when he was joined by fellow musicians in town to form Jhoom 513. The band wanted to keep its origin and the genre intact in its name, and hence the 513 (Cincinnati's Area Code), and of course it promises to get you to Jhooooooooooooooooommmmmmm, every time it performs to entertain you.
